Hello!… It’s me👋

I’m Yuri, and I’m a UX/UI designer with a background in psychology and art.

I strive to create visually appealing websites/apps that are functional and inclusive, and to also solve problems. 

I’ve had a meandering path, from working in hospitals to continuing to be a student and learning about UX/UI (never stop learning!). I’ve always had a love and appreciation for fine arts ever since I can remember. As a child, you could almost always find me scribbling away in a sketchbook. In high school, I fell in love with the world of psychology which really got me thinking about what goes on in peoples’ minds and why they make decisions that they do. This led me to choose psychology as a major in college. After finishing school, going through the pandemic and having my eyes opened to what other possibilities there are in life, I stumbled upon UX/UI, which seemed like a perfect combination of art and psychology. 

In my free time, you can catch me solving puzzles, catching up on my favorite shows (like Grey’s Anatomy), and painting pictures of my puppo, Phoebe.

I’m excited to continue my journey into UX/UI and continuously learn more about this world.
